About Us
Meet Rex
Owner/Operator Rex Copeman has been a local of San Diego most of his life. Rex's Interest in classic cars started at young age. Rex began his career in upholstery in 2010, quickly learning from the best and built a reputation for award winning craftsmanship. His shop specializes in transforming cars/motorcycle into show pieces.

Builders Choice AWARD:
Shaun Salehyan's '37 Studebaker pickup was a big hit with the Goodguys staff and nearly everyone else in Del Mar. Owner built with help from friends, the truck has sleek, Art Deco-influenced lines that are enhanced by being lowered with air springs over '36 Plymouth wheels and wide whites. A '64 Studebaker Hawk GT supplied the McCollough-supercharged 289c.i. V8. Nick Battaglia at Loose Cannon Customs sprayed the metallic green BASF paint, while Rex Copeman stitched the fine threads inside.
GOODGUYS 2021 - Street Rod D'Elegance
Street Rod D'Elegance AWARD:
The mostly stock body was straightened, smoothed, and fitted with hidden door hinges, a custom rear window, tailgate, and lower pan before Loose Cannon Customs sprayed the BASF Glasurit Sage Metallic finish. Inside, Rex Copeman stitched brown leather on the bench seat, while a ’37 Packard dash and gauges and a ’41 Zephyr steering wheel added some additional upscale style.
